The Los Angeles Dodgers hired SPORTFIVE to help secure partnerships for the team, with a focus on finding the on-field presenting sponsor at Dodger Stadium and the jersey patch deal.
SPORTFIVE will use its extensive market intelligence, reach and global sales network to identify and secure the ideal partners for the Dodgers, whether domestically or internationally. Dodger Stadium’s Presenting Partner will include additional branding and marketing opportunities.

“For a company to have the opportunity to align their brand with us and our iconic venue, Dodger Stadium, as well as one of the most recognizable uniforms in all of sports is truly special. We look forward to working with these future partners”

SPORTFIVE has previously worked with the Los Angeles Lakers to negotiate a jersey crest sponsorship, among an extensive portfolio of clients.
Will Dodger Stadium get a new name?
The Dodgers are not selling the naming rights to Dodger Stadium, which is baseball’s third-oldest stadium and recently underwent a major renovation project.
What is available instead is a branding opportunity on the stadium’s most prominent position and other signage.
Possible jersey patch
Beginning with the 2023 regular season, each MLB team will be permitted to enter into sponsorship deals for jersey patches. The agreements must remain in place for at least one year at a time, and only one design – no alternates.
The allowable size is 4 by 4 inches, with the patch approved to be placed on the left or right sleeve of the jersey. Both MLB and the Players Association (MLBPA) must approve all jersey patches.
Fans will have the option of purchasing jerseys with or without sponsorship patches. Team stores will sell authentic jerseys with crests in stadium stores. Replica jerseys found at various retailers will not have sponsorship representation.
On a related topic, MLB may begin putting decals on helmets as early as the 2022 playoffs. These deals will be brokered by the league and will be an official sponsor of MLB, rather than each club being able to come up with their own deals.
