Law firm Stark & Stark has announced that shareholders Trina Glass, Bhaveen R. Jani and Thomas Onder have been elected to new leadership positions on the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Glass and Jani serve as co-chairs, while Onder will serve as committee secretary. Glass is a member of Stark & Stark’s Investment and Securities Management Group and a member of Corporate Counsel Women of Colour.
Jani, a litigator in the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury group, is a past president of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey and serves on the DE&I committee of the New Jersey Association for Justice.
Onder is President of Stark & Stark’s Mall Development and Retail Group, is also State Chairman of ICSC’s NJ/PA/DE Region, and a member of the Bayard Board of Directors. Rustin Center for Social Justice.

Trina Glass said, “As a diverse lawyer, it’s important to me that all people have a voice and are free to be themselves. Over the next few years, my co-chair and I will work with the committee to promote collaboration within and outside the company from a DE&I perspective, set strategic goals designed to improve and measure DE&I, and create plans action to achieve these goals.
The Stark & Stark Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee engages and leads organizations outside the company that seek to improve diversity and inclusion, educating others about the importance of a diverse and inclusive environment and guiding the company’s diverse recruiting efforts. Bhaveen R. Jani added, “When we engage in open dialogue about our differences and what we have in common, our firm becomes more inclusive and a better place to work and thrive.
