Stevens & Lee Launches Public Affairs Company in New Jersey Led by Anthony J. “Skip” Cimino

Stevens & Lee Companies today announced the formation of a public affairs firm in New Jersey and the hiring of Anthony J. “Skip” Cimino to lead the Princeton-based company. He joins as Senior Managing Director.

Stevens & Lee Public Affairs, LLC will work with private companies and nonprofit clients to advance their governmental interests in New Jersey. The new firm joins a platform of companies that includes Stevens & Lee, one of the nation’s top 250 law firms with more than 185 attorneys, including 50 who reside in expanding offices from New Jersey to Princeton. and in Bergen County.

A business executive, longtime government leader, and former elected official, Cimino brings more than three decades of experience to his representation of clients before the New Jersey State Legislature and Executive. He has held general manager and other leadership roles for a number of prominent New Jersey institutions, including the RWJ Hamilton Hospital, CMX Engineering (successor company to Schoor DePalma), Spiezle Architectural Group, and First Bank. .

Prior to joining Stevens & Lee Public Affairs, he served as Executive Director of the Majority Office of the New Jersey General Assembly and, earlier in his career, was elected as an Assemblyman for the 14th Legislative District of New Jersey. State of New Jersey. He also served on the Governor Transition Teams for Governor McGreevey and Governor Florio, and served as Commissioner of Staff for Governor Florio’s Cabinet.

Cimino has led numerous nonprofit and philanthropic organizations dedicated to economic and community development in New Jersey. He is president emeritus of Greater Trenton and past president of the Princeton Area Community Foundation, and has held leadership positions with the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, the New Jersey Independent College Fund Foundation, and the Chamber of trade in southern New Jersey. , among many others.

Cimino earned his BA from Providence College and took master’s courses at Georgetown University before leaving for military service.
